Dear Richard Scott

Freedom of Information Act (2000) – Request for Information

I write following your email date 16/07/2012

Please note that your request has been allocated reference FOI20120503

Further to your request, please see our response below:

The information regard the addresses, description and rateable value of
all commercial premises is held in the Council's Business Rates records.
However, we would not necessarily be aware of the owners of these
premises. The data held would identify the parties responsible for
Business Rates but this could be owner or tenants of the premises
concerned.

If you are happy to receive responsible party information we can also
provide the commercial premises information you have requested. However,
if the responsible party information is not what you require but you still
require the addresses, description and rateable values  I would suggest
that you contact the Valuation Office Agency as they are responsible for
maintaining the rating list which is used to create our commercial
property records and would contain the information you require. Any
request for information from the Valuation Office Agency should be emailed
to: [1][email address].
