I am writing to confirm that the Office for National Statistics has now
completed its search for the information which you requested and the
response can be found here:

You asked:

​Could you please supply the total number of all cause mortality for
deaths occurring within 28 days of a Covid vaccination in the UK from the
start of vaccinations in December to the latest data dates available.

We said:

Thank you for your request.

​Please note, we are responsible for the production of Mortality data for
England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the death
certificate at death registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) and
Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible
for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. They can be
contacted

Unfortunately, we do not hold analysis showing deaths from all causes
within 28 days of having the COVID-19 vaccine.

In case it is of interest, we hold vaccination data for England and we are
currently developing our analytical plans with an intention to publish
statistics on vaccination effectiveness soon. Once we have finalised these
plans a publication date will be announced on our [3]Release Calendar.

Also, all cause deaths and deaths involving COVID-19 are published in
our [4]weekly deaths dataset, which may be of interest. This data set is
updated every Tuesday.

You have the right to have this response to your Freedom of Information
request reviewed internally by an internal review process and, if you
