Alexandra Palace and Park Board: East Wing Restoration Project Programme Board

Waiting for an internal review by Haringey Borough Council of their handling of this request.

Dear Haringey Borough Council,

Access to Information Act 2000 (as amended)
Environmental Information Regulations

Alexandra Palace and Park Board: East Wing Restoration Project
Programme Board

The Council is trustee of Alexandra Palace and Park charitable trust.

Haringey is and has been the supplier of committee services, clerking and committee administration for meetings of the above.

The Programme Board is a sub-committee of the Trust Board, which oversees major restoration and capital works (East Wing Restoration and West Yard projects).

I ask to be kindly provided, under the above Act and Regulations, with a list of all meetings of the above during the past five years; a link to, or electronic copy of, documents and reports used and referred to in compiling the reports given in the meetings, but not published, including those in the part of the meeting in which Press and Public were excluded, as well as a full meaningful description of the issues raised and decisions taken.

I am not aware that this request repeats or duplicates any information already requested. I believe it is new information and subject to the legislation cited above, and all or part should have already been published or in the public domain and its disclosure needs to be considered on its own merits. You need not supply any information which:

1 The authority is now willing to disclose, including under its statutory duty under LGA 1972 s100 as amended (if so please advise)
2 Is already in the public domain (if so please refer to where it may be found)
3 Is exempt information under the provisions of the above legislation

Yours faithfully,

J O'Callaghan

Haringey Borough Council

Dear Mr J O'Callaghan,

Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: LBH/8517919

Thank you for your request for information received on 18 March 2019, in
which you asked for the following:

The Council is trustee of Alexandra Palace and Park charitable trust.

Haringey is and has been the supplier of committee services, clerking and
committee administration for meetings of the above.

The Programme Board is a sub-committee of the Trust Board, which oversees
major restoration and  capital works (East Wing Restoration and West Yard
projects).

I ask to be kindly provided, under the above Act and Regulations, with a
list of all meetings of the above during the past five years; a link to,
or electronic copy of, documents and reports used and referred to in
compiling the reports given in the meetings, but not published, including
those in the part of the meeting in which Press and Public were excluded,
as well as a full meaningful description of the issues raised and
decisions taken.

My response is as follows:

The Council does not hold this information, as the Programme Board
meetings are co-ordinated by Alexandra Palace.

If you are unhappy with how we have responded to your request you can ask
us to conduct an Internal Review. If so, please contact the [1]Feedback
and Information Team. (Please note you should do so within two months of
this response.)

Dear Haringey Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Haringey Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Alexandra Palace and Park Board: East Wing Restoration Project Programme Board'.

The grounds for refusal appear to be the same as those in an earlier refusal of information by the Council relating to Alexandra Palace trust, a claim that this trust is a separate legal person from the Council (its sole trustee), an argument which the ICO has already overruled: see especially paras 17 to 20 of

https://ico.org.uk/media/action-weve-tak....

A full history of my FOI requests and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

I am also copying this to the ICO.

Yours faithfully,

J O'Callaghan

Haringey Borough Council
