The request was successful.

Dear Independent Police Complaints Commission,

You recently stated in a public FOI response that you have 400 employees, 43 of which are police officers.

Could you please tell me the following:

1) Of the 400 employees, how many of them are designated as being of any other ethnic origin except white British?
2) How many employees are there within the IPCC who have the power to reject appeals concerning cases that have been the subject of investigation by Police Constabularys within the UK?
3) Of the above how many have worked within the police service as either officers or as civillian staff?

Yours faithfully,

Rob Willis

Of the 121 adjudicators at the IPCC only 1 of them is an ex police officer.

So what would influence the remaining 120 staff into consistently rejecting the majority of the appeals lodged with the IPCC?
