Dear FOI Advice,

I would like to update the request.

In the House of Commons, Thursday 14 November, the MP for Doncaster East and the Isle of Axholme Lee Pitcher made a claim that he has requested to the Department for Transport to prioritise the approval of the necessary airspace as soon as possible in respect of Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

Under the freedom of information act, I would like to request all correspondence from the Government, City of Doncaster or Lee Pitcher in respect of the airspace including any request to prioritise or expedite the airspace change process.

Yours sincerely,

Yours sincerely,

Wai M Yau

Dear Wai M Yau,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information (FOI) request dated 25 October
2024 and your subsequent email dated 14 November 2024 seeking to amend
that request.

Upon reviewing your revised request, it is potentially too broad to
process as drawn within the statutory cost and time limits, as set out in
Section 12 of the FOI Act. This is due to the potential volume of records
involved, the extensive time frame, and the broad subject matter.

You should also be aware that, when calculating the overall time/costs of
compliance, the time taken to address your amended request will be
aggregated with the time already spent processing your original request
dated 25 October 2024. This is because the requests are related and have
been submitted within a 60-working-day period.

To assist you, we suggest reverting to your original request of 25 October
2024, which is more narrowly defined and can be processed within the
statutory cost and time limits. Please confirm whether you would like us
to proceed with your original request without incorporating your recent
amendment?  You would, of course, still be free to re-submit the broader
request after we have responded to the original request.

If you would like us to consider your amendment of 14 November 2024 in
more detail, the original request will be withdrawn, and the amendment
will be treated as a new request due to the significant alteration in its
overall scope. The statutory deadline for this new request would be 20
working days from 14 November 2024, meaning it would fall on 12 December
2024.

We are unable to progress further until we receive your confirmation on
how you wish to proceed.

If we do not hear from you within 20 working days (i.e., by 18 December),
we may have to refuse your request under Section 12 of the FOI Act.

We are happy to assist you further in refining your request if needed.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for support.

Yours sincerely,
