Aircraft Total flights over east and south east london from Heathrow , City Airport,Stanstead local air fields and helicopter fields

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Civil Aviation Authority should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Civil Aviation Authority,

On Sunday 11 November in the afternoonbetween in a 55 minute period I counted 34 aircraft flying over that is one every 1.6 minutes

Flights over east and southeast london have increased since the introduction of the concentrated air paths in 2016. The CAA's has recently agreed to the concentrated flight paths introduced in 2016. The City Airport inintial public ' consultation' having been deemed inadequate.

I have made enquiries to the GLA and this figure is not available. This is very surprising as it is the combined effect of noise pollution that is harmful and distressing to residents in these areas. The CAA and GLA should make decisions knowing the full extent of the noise and air pollution.

Please would you supply the me with the following-
The number of flights over east and south east London, to and from
London City Airport
Heathrow Airport
Stanstead Airport
Local and regional airports/airfields
Commercial airports/airfields
Helicopter airfields
Police helicopter flights ( if available)

Please include each flyover by planes waiting for clearance to land, not just each aircraft.

Thank you .

Yours faithfully

H.Varley
