Would you kindly supply the following information on Air Quality
Monitoring Data from sites within Horwich over the past 25 years.

 

As per DEFRA guidelines, this should include Site Name, Site Code, Site
Type, Ordnance Survey Code, Latitude/Longitude, Address, Height from road,
Kerb Distance, Period/Month, Concentration, Status, Comments (if any),
Prep Lab, Analysis Lab, Pollutant Type and all other relevant data.

 

Our response

 

Please see attached documents containing the requested information held by
Bolton Council from 1997.

 

Historical data pre-dating the information contained in the attached
documents is not held by Bolton Council.  You may be able to access this

Bolton Council has not conducted Air Quality Monitoring on Horwich Loco
Works.

 

2. The Freedom of Information Act states you have a right to request any
recorded information held by a public authority. Your request can be in
the form of a question, rather than a request for specific documents, but
the authority does not have to answer your question if this would mean
creating new information or giving an opinion or judgment that is not
