Dear Mr Davies,

Please find the below in response to your Freedom of Information request
dated 28^th January 2020.

Q. How many buildings do you occupy which have air conditioning. Provide
building names.

The Trust occupies a large and mostly leased estate; of these we have
assessed those requiring a TM44 inspection to be; Brighton General
Hospital (Arundel Building and Archive Store), Chailey Clinical Services
(Westfield), Morley Street School Clinic and The Quadrant (multiple units)
and we have engaged with a contractor to complete these.

Q. Who is the responsible person for ensuring that your buildings are
legally compliant on this mandatory environmental matter? Provide the
name, position, address, email address and direct telephone number of the
responsible person.

A review of the Trust Energy and Water Policy is currently taking place
and this document will clearly state where the responsibility for
maintenance of these reports lie to ensure ongoing compliance with the
regulations.

The responsible person within the Trust is Peter Prentice, Strategic
Director of Estates and Facilities (01273) 696011.

Q. All reports are mandatorily lodged on a Government database. No reports
are currently lodged or are out of date, you are therefore non-compliant.
Has your Trust Board been made aware of this breach?

We have previously undertaken TM44 Inspections when they first become a
legal requirement; these were however carried out at a time prior to the
requirement to lodge them on the government database and they were held
locally.

Trust Board has not been notified, but the relevant director will be made
aware.

Q. Provide the name and email address of the ultimate person who has made
the decision to ignore this Environmental Legislation. N/A. The Trust has
not ignored this Environmental Legislation and a contractor has been
engaged to carry out a TM44 inspection for the sites identified above.

Q. Provide the name and email address of each Trust Board Member.

Information and contact details for each of our Trust Board Members can be
