Ages of perpetrators of criminal knife use.

Paul Perrin made this Freedom of Information request to Sussex Police

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Sussex Police,

I would like figures on the ages of people prosecuted for crimes involving the use of knives against other individuals (not possession, actual criminal use).

I don't know how you currently hold data, but individual cases for the past two years, or monthly totals by age for the past two years, or annual totals for the past two years would be acceptable.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Perrin

Dear Sussex Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Sussex Police's handling of my FOI request 'Ages of perpetrators of criminal knife use.'.

It seems Sussex Police FoI handling is as dysfunctional as is other activities. Yet another request had not been handled on time - not even acknowledged.

If you want a system to manage this, let me know, I have put in such systems for other public sector organisations.

In the mean time could you look into the handling of this request.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Yours faithfully,

Paul Perrin
