Agency Staff

Chris Mathews made this Freedom of Information request to Bradford City Council

Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Bradford City Council

I am making a Freedom of Information request to see how many casual, temporary, interim and agency workers the council has used over the last year

Can I please have how many used between 1st October 2019 and 1st August 31 2021 and broken down by department?

Can I also see the total costs that each department has spent on these staff broken down per year too?

I would also like to know how many of these staff have worked beyond 12 weeks continuously, 6 months continuously and more than 12 months continuously broken down by percentages across the Council.

For reasons of clarity I am referring to contracts/jobs, etc rather than individuals. So if one person has worked as a casual or agency worker for 1 year but has come back 4 times then that would count as 4 rather than 1.

I understand you have internal systems that keep these records

Yours faithfully,

Chris Mathews
