Subject: IGT_FOI_01_ 5873 - Temporary agency spend for schools

Dear Amanda Walker,

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000: IGT_FOI_01_ 5873 - Temporary agency spend
for schools

Your request for information has been considered under the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and the information is below.

The funding for maintained schools is delegated via the LA DSG Grant.
Schools are responsible for the delegated funding.

A school reporting is based on the CFR data only, to both the LA and DfE
for compliance. To my understanding this information is published
annually, data with regards to September 2011 - December 2011 will not be
available until after the financial year in April 2012.

This information is therefore exempt under Section 22 – Information
Intended for Future publication.

The data you require is intended for publication after April 5th 2012 and
therefore this email acts as a refusal notice.

For your reference the CFR (Consistent Financial Reporting) framework
summarises school level financial information into headings. Some of these
headings have been designed for benchmarking and some are included to meet
the wider commitment of CFR - that it would be the main source of
information about how schools have spent their resources.

The CFR data is availabel vie the [1]www.Education.gov.uk website. For
your reference and convenience I have included last financial year’s data.

Yours sincerely,

Samir Kamil
