Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust,

1. How many agency nursing shifts have been filled from 1st March to 1st October 2018?
2. What is your yearly trust spend on agency nurses, broken down into grade and specialty including but not limited to General nurses, Theatre Nurses, Mental Health Nurses, A&E Nurses, Midwifery and ITU/ICU Nurses?
3. What is your yearly trust spend on agency nurses via OFF-framework agencies, broken down into grade and specialty?
4. How many agency nursing shifts have been filled at a rate higher than NHSi Caps by a framework agency in the past 3 months?
5. How many agency nursing shifts have been filled at a rate higher than NHSi Caps by a framework agency in the past 12 months?
6. Please can you outline your spend for per agency, broken down by grade and specialty of nurses over the past 12 months?
7. How many shifts have you filled on A&E broken down by band and how many have been filled at above NHSi cap?
