I write in response to your email dated 12 June 2024, in which you
requested the following information under the Freedom of Information Act
2000 (FOIA):
      
Please can you send across recruitment agency spend from Sep 2023 -
Present? Broken down by department and agency.
 
Luminate Education Group FE Corporation includes Leeds City College,
Keighley College and Harrogate College.  I can confirm we hold the
information requested as follows:  
 
The total agency spend from 1 September 2023 to 01 July 2024 is £2.17m
 
*The second part of your request i.e. 'broken down by department and
agency' is considered to be of commercial interest and as such we
believe this information to be exempt from disclosure under section 43
of the Freedom of Information Act.  Specifically, section 43 of the Act
permits us to protect our own commercial interests and those of third
parties with whom we engage.
 
I hope that the above information meets your requirements.  However, if
you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of this email and
should be addressed to [1][email address]
 
If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to make a complaint to the data protection supervisory
