Agency Spend

We're waiting for Marika Mikely to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Sutton Borough Council,

Please can you provide me with details of the following:

Please can you breakdown of how much support staff was needed in Primary schools, SEN schools, PRU schools for the of period 1st September 2016 to November 2017.

If possible, I'd like this information to be broken down by School, Agency & amount spent.


(i) Total spend on agency staffing for support staff Primary Schools and Nurseries in the financial year of September 2016 to November 2017.


(ii) Please specify what spend relates to e.g. Teaching Assistant, SEN Teachibg Assistant , SEN specialist , 
Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Nursery nurses as opposed to 'other' including admin / catering / security etc. 


(iii) If possible, I would like to request the spend is broken down 
by agency / employment business.

For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions which may
prevent release of the information you have requested.  There will be an
assessment and if any of the exemption categories apply then the
information will not be released.  You will be informed if this is the

they may be consulted prior to a decision being taken on whether or not to
release the information to you.  You will be informed if this is the case.
A fee may be payable for this information.  This will be considered and
you will be informed if a fee is payable.  In this event the fee must be

concerning Agency Spend On School Staff.

 

The schools submit their information using the Consistent Financial
Reporting standard set out by the government for schools reporting.

I have attached a breakdown of Category E03  (Education Support Staff)
which covers the support staff expenditure from April 2016 - March 2017.
The schools report to the London Borough of Sutton on a financial year
basis so we unable to provide the information for the financial period you
have requested.

I am unable to provide the information you have requested under points ii
& iii as we do not hold this information.  If you need a further breakdown
of information you will need to contact the individual schools.  Contact

If you are unhappy with the way in which your request has been handled you
have the right to ask for an internal review.  Please notify us in writing
as soon as possible with the grounds upon which you feel the appeal is
