5) What is the cost of operating the internal staff bank?

I refer to your request made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

We will not have the figures available for December 2017 as the response to this FOI request is due before the month 9 Board meeting on 15 March 2018; therefore we will not have the position before this.

A year to date position from Jan 2017 – Nov 2017 can be prepared now or you may wish to withdraw the request and resubmit it at a later date (i.e. after Board meeting for the month 9 position) at which point the latest position data will be available to include December 2017.

Please can you let me know how you wish to proceed.

I refer to your email of 14 January 2018 requesting information in respect of agency spend.

I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do hold some information that would be useful in terms of your request.

I have listed your questions below together with our response.

1) What is the total annual 2017 (1st January - 31st December) spend on temporary staffing?
2) What proportion of the spend was for agency nursing?

5) What is the cost of operating the internal staff bank?
6) How many WTEs operate the staff bank? We do not have an internal staff bank so the answer to the HR part of this FOI is nil. We use NHSP and HCL respectively.
7) What is the average % rate fee you pay an agency for filling a nurse shift?

We have sought clarification form you on how you wish to process with regard t the remaining questions.
