Afghanistan Ex-Gratia Scheme information

Waiting for an internal review by Ministry of Defence of their handling of this request.

Dear Ministry of Defence,

I request the following information under FOI.

Context

In Reference: FOI 2017/11302 paragraph 5 you provide eligibility criteria for UK relocation.

In Reference: FOI 2017/11069 - Core Script Options 1,2 Ver 8.1 you have provided different eligibility criteria to the LES when informing them of the eligibility criteria required when appealing.

In Reference: FOI 2017/10606 - Offer Letter Options 1+2 Ver 9.0 you have provided further different criteria to the LES when informing them of the eligibility criteria required when appealing.

1. How many LES who fulfil the criteria in Offer Letter Options 1+2 Ver 9.0 have been refused UK Relocation?

2. How many LES who fulfil the criteria in Core Script Options 1,2 Ver 8.1 have been refused UK Relocation?

3. I request all documents held by the UK Ministry of Defence which explain why there is a difference between the eligibility criteria provided to the LES in the two documents and the eligibility criteria used by the UK Government when making the decision on eligibility. Is there a reason why the UK Government hides the true criteria from the LES who wish to appeal?

Yours faithfully,

Aziz Azizabad
