Affordable housing enforcement actions - Aylesbury estate

Jerry Flynn made this Freedom of Information request to Southwark Borough Council Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Southwark Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Southwark Council,

In May last year you conducted an audit of affordable housing provision, which flagged up discrepancies on the two completed phases (1a and site 7) of the Aylesbury estate redevelopment.

These were then subjected to enforcement actions against the registered provider L&Q (refs: 22/EN/0110 and 22/EN/0158), which concluded in December last year.

Please provide all internal communications and those with L&Q regarding these enforcement actions.

Yours faithfully,

Jerry Flynn

Dear Ms Plewniak,

Thank you for the information you have supplied, however it relates only to Site 7 of the Aylesbury estate regeneration.

Please provide all internal communications and those with L&Q regarding any enforcement action on Phase 1a (planning ref: 07/CO/0046).

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Jerry Flynn

CEXaccessinfo, Southwark Borough Council

Dear Mr Flynn,

Apologies for not getting back sooner to you on this. However, I have received the following clarification regarding Site 7 from our Planning Enforcement team:

'' When London & Quadrant provided their returns for site 1 they only linked Roffo Court to application 07/CO/0046. They did provide returns for Arments Court, Totter Court. Hitard Court, Boundary Lane and Bradenham close. At first it appeared that there was an underprovision but that is not the case. It was a failure to link the other buildings to this permission.''

My understanding is there was no breach in the first instance, but if there is any further information you require, please do let me know.

Yours sincerely,
