Affordable housing contributions
Dear information team,
I would like to make a freedom of information request for the following information in relation to affordable housing contributions under section 106 and community infrastructure levies.
I would like to a list of all developments from 2019 that have agreed on a affordable housing contribution or CIL. I would like the application number, the date, the amount agreed and the amount received.
I would also like to know the councils policy on collecting such payments.
Yours faithfully,
Luke Chafer

Good Morning
Please find a list of all developments where a S106 agreement has been signed between 1st January 2019 and 31st December 2023 and where an affordable housing contribution was included. This list includes the application number, the date, the amount agreed and the amount received (if applicable).
East Staffordshire do not have a CIL charging schedule in force.
The council currently does not have a policy around collecting S106 agreement monies. We do however follow our internal procedures where by trigger points are monitored and requests for payments are made and tracked.
If you are dissatisfied with this response, you may ask the Council to conduct a review of this decision. To do this, please contact the Council in writing (including by letter, fax or email), describe the original request, explain your grounds for dissatisfaction, and include an address for correspondence. You have 40 working days from receipt of this letter to submit a review request. The review request should be sent to:
