Affordable housing contribution usage
Dear Freedom of Information team,
I would like to make a request under the freedom of information act.
I would like the following information.
- I would like to know how much money the council has collected in affordable housing contributions under section 106 or community infrastructure levies in the years: 2023,2022,2021,2020.
- I would like to know for the same years how much of the money was spent.
- I would also like a list of the projects that the money was spent on.

Further to your request for information regarding Affordable Housing,
which was received on 17/04/24, please see below the answers to your
enquiry.
I would like to know how much money the council has collected in
affordable housing contributions under section 106 or community
infrastructure levies in the years: 2023,2022,2021,2020.
Answer - Currently the Council has not adopted CIL, however the following
amounts have been collected under Section 106.
2020/21 – Nil
2021/22 - £612,649.98
2022/23 - £403,086.19
2023/24 - £125,374.66
I would like to know for the same years how much of the money was spent.
