Dear South Oxfordshire District Council,

Can you please provide the following in regard to affordable housing within SODC ;

1) How many affordable homes have been built in each of the years from 2012 to date.

2) If possible, please provide a breakdown of where those affordable homes have been built.

3) Please provide the cost of those affordable homes where that information is available. Please also provide any documents you have with parameters of what is deemed an affordable home.

4) Please also provide the number of new social housing homes provided within SODC for the same years along with locations where possible.

5) Please provide figures for the sums of any monies paid by developers instead of providing affordable homes on developments. Please also provide locations of those developments where developers have chosen to pay monies rather than build affordable homes.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Bowen

Dear Helen,

Thank you for providing this information.
I understand many of the homes listed are social rented homes. Would it be possible to break those figures down into social rentable homes made available through housing associations and those affordable homes that are available to purchase outright and also how many are made available through shared ownership.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Bowen

Helen Novelle,

Thank you for your email. I will be out of the office until Tuesday 21st
November 2017.  If you need to speak to someone in the meantime, please
contact Steve May tel: 01235 422479 email:
[email address].

Helen Novelle,

Dear Mr Bowen
The table I sent to you included, firstly, the total number of affordable homes delivered in each location and then, in response to your later question on the number of 'social' homes, the next table extracts the 'rented' units delivered in the same locations . The balance of affordable homes from the 'total' in the first table were all for shared ownership. None of the affordable homes are made available for outright purchase.

Kind regards
Helen
