Further to your recent request made under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act as detailed below, the response from North Wales Fire and
Rescue Service (NWF&RS) is as follows:

 

The Maintained Software used to provide the ALP footprint modelling is
Blue8World NetMaster and Fortek Vision.

 

The software applications utilise information criteria bespoke to
emergency services for resilience planning held on secure protected
networks.

 

The modelling has been proved through actual incident response times for
ALP appliances travelling between Rhyl and Llandudno under blue light
conditions of 24 minutes on more than one occasion. These incidents are
contained in the data already published.
