Dear Clackmannanshire Council,
Hi thanks, is there any plans to put AEDs in public buildings and schools? Clackmannanshire Council are building new schools, renovated Speirs Centre, Ben Cleuch centre, and don’t put a live saving AED in these buildings?

Yours faithfully,

Ian Millar

Dear Mr. Millar

Freedom of Information Enquiry: FIN0363E42

Thank you for your information request dated 03/02/2015.

I am happy to supply you with the information you requested.

Clackmannanshire Council currently have 1 AED which is located in the
Council Headquarters (Kilncraigs, Greenside Street, Alloa, FK10 1EB).

There were two AEDs at Greenfield House and Lime Tree House.  Both
buildings have recently closed and I can now confirm that the AEDs have
been relocated to the Speirs Centre and Paton's School.  Consideration is
being given to installing them in secondary school fitness suites and also
adding more units into Kilncraigs.

Yours sincerely

Ryan Douglas
