Further to your e-mail below, requesting information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000, I am now in a position to respond to your questions
as follows:

Please could you provide the necessary information in relation to the
following questions for Adult Social Care:

Q1. Which IT system are you using in the department specifically as a core
case management system and any other supporting software holding
information on individuals supported by your adults care services? Please
provide the name of system and supplier.

Q2. For each system identified in Q1, please could you let us know when
each of these systems were first implemented and associated cost per year?
Please breakdown the total cost of each into licence fees, annual support,
professional services (training, implementation, consulting etc).

Q3. For each system identified in Q1 please could you let us know what the
length of the current contract is and the date the contract ends?

Please return your response by providing the answers as per the below:

 1. System Name: Welsh Community Care Information System (WCCIS) Care
System. This system is used for Children and Adult Social Care.

 2. Supplier: Advanced Solutions

 3. Length of Current Contract (years): 8 Years plus 4 years extension

 4. Current Contract Start Date: Master Services Agreement (National)
signed in March 2015

 5. Current Contract End Date: March 2027 if all extensions applied

 6. Annual Licence Fee: There is a detailed national financial model. The
fee is calculated annually by the Commercial Group and we are informed
of the cost as a total. We are able to confirm the following:

Year 1             £67,471.39 (implementation Year)

Year 2             £31,125.48

Year 3             £65,000

Year 4             £49,962

Year 5             £65,000

 7. Annual Professional Services or other additional costs: National Host
costs Contract Year:

Year 2:            £1,548.16

Year 3:            £1,626.44

Year4:             £1,600.00

Year 5:            £1,645.28

 8. Annual Support and Maintenance: Covered in question 6 above
