Adult Social Care
Dear Wolverhampton City Council,
Please find below a number of questions relating to social care provision to be considered under the Freedom of Information Act.
Please answer each question in respect to the area covered by your local authority.
1. How many, and what proportion of, disabled people received direct payments for their social care over each of the last five years?
2. How many people were receiving local authority commissioned domiciliary care in each of the last five years?
3. What percentage of local authority commissioned domiciliary care visits were delivered in 15 minutes or less in each of the last five years?
4. What was the total budget for domiciliary care in each of the last five years?
5. What was the total budget for adult social care in each of the last five years?
6. What percentage of complaints received in the last five years related to domiciliary care visits of 15 minutes or under?
We are collecting information of this kind from all local authorities in England, and intend to use the responses publically. However, we will not release any data that could identify local authorities individually – and do not intend to undertake any analysis below a Government Office Region level.
We are very grateful for your cooperation in this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Ciaran Osborne
