Can you confirm how many Reviews/Reassessments to be undertaken are older the 12 months and fall outside of Care Act Compliance (Council Backlog)?

The Total budget spend on Reviews/Reassessment between 01/01/2016 to present, broken down to include:

Is the request just Adults related, or would you like Children's Services
information to be included as well please?

If it's the case that you also require information from Children's
Services, please could you provide further clarification within your
questions. The Children's Services is now compliant with the Social
Services and Wellbeing Act not the Care Act as specified in the request.
Also, please could you clarify which review/reassessments your request

& Reassessment Provision, the Authority’s response is as follows:

 

How many reviews/reassessments were conducted during the period 01/01/16
to present by the following?

6702, 3578 of which were completed within agreed timescales.

 

The Authority is unable to identify whether they were completed by Council
employed or Independent workers, as this information is not recorded by
the Authority. None would have been completed by a third party recruitment
agency.

Please Note – The Authority is only able to provide the total spend
(2017/18). This is because the information is not recorded as requested
above.

 

The total budget (2017/18) for all Adult Assessment & Care Management
Teams (including the Review Team) is £5,981,000.

In Adult Services there are - 13 Senior Practitioners and 70 Social
Workers.

 

In the Reviewing Team there are 1 - Team Manager - 1 Senior Practitioner,
1 Social Worker & 4 Assessor Care Managers
