Adrian Hieatt voiced new automated announcements recently recorded for the Waterloo & City Line trains.

The request was refused by Transport for London.

Dear Transport for London,

Under the Freedom Of Information Act 2000 could i please request that you upload the new Adrian Hieatt automated announcements sound files for the Waterloo & City Line trains please. I understand that you have already recently uploaded the new Adrian Hieatt recordings for both the Bakerloo Line announcements and Central Line announcements. But very recently Adrian Hieatt has also done some new recordings for the Waterloo & City Line too. These have not been uploaded to the Share Point yet. So would it be possible to please kindly upload these as well. Thank you very much.

Yours faithfully,

Samuel Johnson

Dear Samuel Johnson

Our ref: FOI-3408-2324/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24
December 2023 asking for announcements.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that
we do hold the information you require.

As you have contacted us through the What Do They Know website, we are
unable to check that you have been given permissions to access the
announcements which are available, but as you seem to be aware of what is
available on the Share Point site we are assuming you do have access.

When you were granted access you should have been advised that we intend
to update these files on a six monthly basis and so any newer recordings
will be uploaded as part of this pre-determined schedule, rather than in
response to specific future FOI requests. This is to ensure our resources
can be managed effectively.

Therefore, your request for these new announcements has been refused under
section 22 of the FOI Act on the basis that there is a pre-existing
intention to publish these in accordance with our publication schedule.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached
information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
