Admissions Statistics 2019/2020 all Graduate Taught Programs
Dear London School of Economics,
Regarding all Graduate Taught Programs, I'd like to know the following information for the sessions 2019/2020 if any data is available:
A breakdown per program with: number of applicants, number of offers, and number of enrolled students.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Francisca de la Sotta
Thank you for your email. As you will appreciate, information requests
place additional demands on the School in terms of costs and staff time.
At present we are having to prioritise our finite resources in order to
meet the unprecedented challenges we are facing during the Coronavirus
(COVID-19) pandemic. As such, we need to advise you that while we will
continue to process individual requests, you may experience some delay in
our response during the current pandemic.
Dear Francisca
In order for the School to progress your recent FoI request, please can you clarify if your enquiry relates to:
A) Undergraduate or Postgraduate courses, or both
B) home or International Students, or both
Could I also ask you to think about the underlying question that is prompting your data request. If you are attempting to find out what are your chances of getting a place, remember that this cannot be answered by reference to data. Applications are considered on their individual merits, based on a holistic view of your supporting documents in the context of the current cohort. Figures from previous years will not offer any insight on your application. Your best way to find the answer is to apply.
Best Wishes,
Paul
