Dear Ms Campion,

Thank you for your request for information from the University of Dundee.
Colleagues provide data in response to your questions below.

Would you please provide the following statistics for applicants to A100
for the last 3 years:

Number of applicants, split into Scotland/EU; RUK; International

Number of interviews, split into Scotland/EU; RUK; International

Number of offers, split into Scotland/EU; RUK; International

Would you also please let us know how you calculated the score to
determine who was invited to interview and what the cut-off score was for
each of the 3 years, across the same 3 categories of Scotland/EU; RUK;
International

The School of Medicine does not have a cut off for UCAT. For school
leavers we give 60% weighting to the academic score and 40% weighting to
the UCAT score. We use the UCAT score by categorising the applicants in
deciles of UCAT performance. More information about the UCAT can be found
at [1]https://www.ucat.ac.uk/. Applications submitted without the UCAT
test will not be considered.

Relevant work experience is also essential, we encourage up to two weeks
of medically-related work or shadowing experience. We also look at
extra-curricular activities, such as sports, hobbies, part-time work,
volunteering, etc. which can demonstrate high motivation, commitment,
social contribution, and strong communication and leadership skills.

All applications must be submitted through UCAS by the deadline. All
applications are considered on an individual basis, and I must highlight
that simply meeting the entry criteria does not guarantee an offer of
interview or place at Dundee University.

I trust that this is the information you require, but please feel free to
contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Kind regards,

Alan
