Dear GLPD.Info.Rights,
I mean by contextual offer an offer part of the widening participation.
Yours sincerely,
jack Kong
Dear Jack,
Further to your recent FoI request, the Schools response is provided below:
Please see attached.
Please note:
1. 'home' students have been identified as those with a 'Home UK' fee status.
2. 'international' students have been identified as those with a fee status which is not 'Home UK'.
3. 'contextual' applications (and associated offers) have been defined as those with one or more WP (Widening Participation) flags.
4. Only Home UK students can apply via WP and so all related data (questions 5 and 8) pertains to HUK students only.
5. It looks as though we didn't hold WP data for 2019/0 applications so in the responses to questions 5 and 8 no contextual offers are shown for that year. This data has been highlighted on the spreadsheet.
If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact Rachael Maguire at [email address] or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.
