Dear Samartth Seksaria,
Your request was received on 17 August 2024 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’).
You asked:
May you please provide information about the following, for all Natural Sciences applicants from
the last 3 cycles (2022 to 2024), who applied to Trinity College, and Corpus Christi College
(regardless of whether they were pooled or not):
1. The college applied to by each applicant
2. The country/region that the applicant is from
3. Whether the applicant applied for Biological or Physical Natural Sciences
4. Whether the applicant was pooled and which college the applicant was pooled to
5. The A-Level predicted grades of each applicant (stating each subject)
6. The NSAA Score of each applicant and the breakdown (score in each section)
7. Whether the applicant was offered an interview, and if so, their interview score
8. Whether the applicant received an offer after interview
The requested information is attached insofar as it is held. Information about interviews is not held; all
interview processes for entry to undergraduate degree courses at the University are set and managed
locally by each of the individual Colleges, each of which is a separate legal entity and public authority
under the Act.
The University has aggregated some of the data across the time period to prevent the risk of any
individual being identified. In presenting the information in this way, the University is engaging the
exemption at section 40(3A)(a) of the Act because the release of the raw data would breach the first
data protection principle (the fair, lawful and transparent processing of personal data) as set out in the

If you wish to request an internal review of this response, you should contact us quoting the reference
number above. The University would normally expect to receive your request for an internal review

there has been undue delay in raising a complaint. If you are not content with the outcome of your

Information Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the internal review
procedure provided by the University. The Information Commissioner may be contacted at: The
