Dear Ms Goncalves,

Further to your recent request for information held by King’s College London, I am writing to confirm that the requested information is held
by the university.
Your request
We received your information request on 20th June 2019 and have treated it as a request for information made under section 1(1) of the Act.
You requested the following information:
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request statistics regarding the admissions to the MSc Theoretical Physics from
2015 onwards.
For each year I would like to know:
- Number of applicants
- Number of offers made
- Number of accepted offers
- Universities of undergraduate degree and which had successful applicants
- Undergraduate final classification of candidates and of successful applicants
Our response

1. Only the first undergraduate degree of applicants was counted within this data (including integrated masters e.g. MSci or MEng)
2. In the final two requests, “successful applicants” was taken to mean anyone with an unconditional offer, either from the point of
application or after originally being conditional and meeting the entry requirements
3. Overseas qualifications have been converted to UK system equivalents where possible, and those which would not be converted have
been excluded from this data
This completes the university’s response to your information request.
