KAI CHEN made this Freedom of Information request to Queen Mary University of London

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Queen Mary University of London should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Queen Mary University of London,

I would like to have a request for a breakdown of all master programmes related to Business and Math. To avoid confusion, I refer to the data for every master Business or Math programme, not for the whole subject group of Business and Math.

Specifically and if possible, I would like to request, for each of the aforementioned courses:

1) Number of applicants
2) Number of Chinese (Domiciled in China PR) applicants
3) Number of offers made
4) Number of Chinese (Domiciled in China PR) offers made

Please kindly provide the data on latest three admission cycles.

Yours faithfully,

QM FOI Enquiries, Queen Mary University of London

Dear Kai Chen,
We acknowledge receipt of your request.
I am writing to you for clarification.
The areas of business and mathematics that you have referred to are quite
general and wide. Please can you confirm that we should provide
information for every Masters programme offered in our School of
Mathematical Sciences and School of Business and Management? In addition,
there are other schools – such as the School of Economics and Finance and
School of Physics and Astronomy – which offer programmes in related
disciplines. It is not clear if these should be included. You can do a
search on our website at [1]
Please note that we will not process your request any further until we
receive a response.
Yours sincerely
Paul Smallcombe
Records & Information Compliance Manager
