2. How many of these requests (for entry into Reception at Compulsory

NB: The figures above relate to each request from a parent/guardian that
Surrey has been notified of and includes cases where parents have
submitted requests for multiple schools. The figures also include requests
for own admission authority schools which make their own decisions
pertaining to 'admission of children outside their normal age group'.

4. How many of the granted requests (for entry into Reception at

respectively?

Service response for Questions 4, 5 & 6:

The Admissions and Transport Team are responsible for processing
applications for mainstream pupils only. Any school application for a
pupil with an Educational Health Care Plan will be managed by the Special
Educational Needs Team, within Surrey. The Admissions and Transport Team
do receive requests for mainstream pupils, without an Educational Health
Care Plan, that have medical, social, special educational needs or cite
summer born child. In such cases we would consider each case on an
individual basis, seeking supporting evidence and make our decision on the
evidence provided. Whilst we record the outcome decision we do not record
the specific reasons given as it could be due to a culmination of medical,
social, special educational needs or summer born child.

7. How many requests for entry into Reception at Compulsory School Age,
are still under consideration for the school year 2017-2018?
