ADI licence display
Dear Driving Standards Agency,
In the recent MDT consultation there was a suggestion that civil sanctions were neede by the ADI registrar, and one example for use of such sanctions was if an ADI repeatedly didn't display their ADI licence whilst teaching.
Can you please tell me on how many occasions in the last five years has DSA had to take action by means of warning or other action to an ADI who has repeatedly failed to display their licence.
Yours faithfully,
Dave Thomas

Dear Driving Standards Agency,
Thank you for the response.
You state that 'Our Fraud and Integrity Team are notified by examiners and are then responsible for issuing letters where an ADI has failed to display their ADI badge'.
There is no legal requirement for an ADI licence to be displayed on a test, and some ADIs remove them. So it would seem that the examiners are acting outside their remit.
In these instances why would an examiner report the matter to F&I, and under who's instruction are examiners making these reports?
Yours faithfully,
Dave Thomas
Dear Mr Thomas,
