Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Adam Hodgkinson, People Development Partner at the BBC has advertised on his LinkedIn profile that he has just returned from a short break and a successful people development summit in Barcelona.
Can you confirm if:
1.The BBC paid for the attendance at the summit
2.If the BBC paid what was the purpose of the summit aligned to the strategy of the BBC and the activity to ensure costs are placed into output vs these costs
3.if the BBC paid for either the flights or the conference did Mr Hodgkinson stay for a private lesuire break either directly before or directly after the summit. Did the BBC pay for the flight out and in and did Mr Hodgkinson use this as an opportunity to have BBC licence payer fees pay for a holiday for him. To be clear did Mr Hodginkson stay for the weekend in Barcelona f-r private lesuire reasons after the summit and the BBC paid for the flights back.
4.If the BBC paid the total cost of this trip broken down by the cost of atrendance, accommodation costs, travel costs and meal allowance costs.
5.if Mr Hodgkinson stayed for the weekend lesuire break who paid for the hotel costs
