'Ad Block Plus' https://adblockplus.org/ and Ghostery. https://www.ghostery.com/

The request was partially successful.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

For firefox browser users can you provide information on anything you have introduced
to prevent the play back of your own videos on iPlayer for users of 'Ad Block Plus'
https://adblockplus.org/ and Ghostery. https://www.ghostery.com/

A few weeks ago on iPlayer video playback worked when Ad Block Plus and Ghostery was enabled for firefox, now the only way playback works is to disable
Ad Block Plus and Ghostery.

Under European law can you provide information on how any browser-side web scripts or other means you use to probe my firefox browser for use of blockers of your website/iPlayer adverts, cookies and tracking, that when used prevent iPlayer playback, do not need my consent to stop the playback?

Yours faithfully,

Ryan Wilkinson
