The loss of one carriageway lane for vehicular traffic in each direction (on a dual
carriageway), along Fender Lane, to allow for an on-carriageway mandatory cycle lane. The
scheme design includes for “floating” bus-stops and reflective kerb-bollard segregation units
at regular intervals.

A public consultation exercise is to be carried out shortly – stakeholders, elected members,
internal departments of WBC, and local residents will be consulted in the near future.
