Dear Kelly Paulette,

Could you please clarify a couple of points in the information you have sent? Under the section - 'Triggers for changing management strategy'

Q. Tumour upgrading on repeat biopsy:
A. Yes, depending on biopsies results. Increased volume of Gleason 3+3, or if upgrade in Gleason scoring.

Q. % of positive biopsy cores
A. Yes, as above.

Q. Increase in tumour volume
A. Yes, as above.

Could you please clarify that where you have said 'Yes, as above' you are referring to the answer provided for question "Tumour upgrading on repeat biopsy - Yes, depending on biopsies results. Increased volume of Gleason 3+3, or if upgrade in Gleason scoring."

OR are you referring to the earlier question:

Q. Number of biopsy cores involved - please indicate the type of biopsy used
A. less than 50% of biopsy cores involved and <10mm of any one core involved

Yours sincerely,

Martin Abrams (Prostate Cancer UK)
