I have been carrying out the search for information that is relevant to
your request. My search has picked up a great deal of information. I was
wondering if you would be willing to refine your request. Doing so would
allow me to conduct a more effective search of the information I have
found.
You have asked to be provided with all documents that refer to Ante

you clarify what type of information you would like to see and the context

The amount of time taken to conduct the PIT is completely unacceptable. I would refer you to the ICO guidance on the time permitted to conduct a PIT:
“Whilst the current version of the s.45 Code of Practice makes no reference to consideration of the Public Interest our view is that public authorities should aim to respond fully to all requests within 20 working days. In cases where the public interest considerations are exceptionally complex it may be reasonable to take longer but, in or view, in no case should the total time exceed 40 working days.”

Our PIT letter of 1 February was sent to an incorrect email address. This was a mistake and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will ensure that all future correspondence is sent to the correct email address ([FOI #140275 email]).
FCO members of staff are working to provide you with a response before the new deadline (1 March). This deadline was set in our PIT letter of 1 February. Once you receive our response, you may request an internal review.

I am writing to request an internal review of Foreign and Commonwealth Office's handling of my FOI request 'Acquittal of Gotvina and Markac'.
I wish to complain about the handling of my request. The time taken to conduct the PIT was unacceptable – with you extending the deadline well beyond the ICO recommended guidance.
I am also unconvinced by your use of exemptions.
Re: s27(1)a and b – the leaking of thousands of diplomatic cables on wikileaks doesn’t seem to have affected how nation-states conduct diplomacy – no states have had their relations with other states harmed as a result and I don’t believe sending me the info in scope of my request would harm the UK’s international relations. Furthermore, the arguments you have provided are generic and don’t specifically relate to the information in scope of my request – how would releasing the info specifically harm UK relations with Croatia, and the ICTY?
Re: s35 – you have provided me with a generic argument as to why releasing all the info in scope of my request would affect the formulation of government policy. I want to know how, specifically, would providing me with this info would harm the UK’s formulation of government policy with respect to Croatia and the ICTY.
