Dear Mr Roulston

I am writing in response to your request for information regarding ACPOS
funding.

As you may know, ACPOS is not a scheduled Scottish public authority for
the purposes of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, however
the Association aims to act within the spirit of the legislation and
respond to reasonable requests for information when it is available and
not costly to compile.

Your request was as follows:

Could you please confirm the contribution received from each Scottish
police force for each annual accounting period since the body came into
being in October 2006.

In response, I can now provide information which you may find useful (see
attached).  Please note, in terms of the commencement of the funding
(2006/07), Strathclyde Police were responsible for receiving directly, the
GAE funding in 2006/2007 and so dealt with funding directly during this
first year.

I trust that this answers your question.  Thank you for your interest in
ACPOS.

Yours sincerely

David Steel
ACPOS FOI Co-ordinator
