Accounting and finance entry statistics

We're waiting for Bob to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear University of Warwick,
I would like to know the following:
-The number of successful appliances taking further maths
-The average number of A's achieved in A levels for Accounting and finance
-The average number of A*'s achieved in A levels for accounting and finance
-The number of successful Eu applicants
-Also, does not having further math act disadvantageous for entry?
Please note that the information refers.to all the students,both home & overseas.Also, the time period for the information should be 1 recently years(i.e.2017 or 18)

Good Morning,

Thank you for your emails dated 13^th and 15^th January 2019 requesting
information from the University of Warwick. Your request is being
considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please find below
your request and our response.

I would like to know the following:

-The number of successful appliances taking further maths -The average
number of A's achieved in A levels for Accounting and finance -The average
number of A*'s achieved in A levels for accounting and finance -The number
of successful Eu applicants

Please note that the information refers.to all the students, both home &
overseas. Also, the time period for the information should be 1 recently
years(i.e.2017 or 18)

The University declines to provide the requested information as this
information is exempt under section 21(1) of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 which states that “information which is reasonably accessible to
the applicant otherwise than under section 1 is exempt information”.

UCAS operates a charged for analytical service, EXACT, which enables the
exploration of undergraduate admissions data covering over 110 variables
such as number of applicants, applications, offers, replies, and
acceptances.  Data from EXACT is aggregated and anonymised and can be
supplied in a number of different formats.

Section 21(2)(a) states that information may be regarded as reasonably
accessible to the applicant “even though it is accessible only on
payment”, the information requested can be reasonably accessed via UCAS’
analytical service, EXACT, and the University has provided a link to
enable you to access that service.

-Also, does not having further math act disadvantageous for entry?

 

Further Maths is a required subject for courses in the Mathematics and
Statistics departments, and can be used for a slightly lower offer (A*AA
rather than A*A*A) for Mathematics and Physics.

If you are dissatisfied with the way in which your request has been

response and, in the first instance, you are advised to follow the
