The City of London (CoL) acknowledges receipt of your request for
information of 20 December 2013, as attached:
 
Public authorities are required to respond to requests within the
statutory timescale of 20 working days beginning from the first working
day after they receive a request. The Act does not always require public
authorities to disclose the information which they hold.
 
The FOIA applies to the CoL as a local authority, police authority and
port health authority. The CoL is the local and police authority for the
“Square Mile”, ie the historic City of London, and not for London as a

The CoL does have some functions, including Port Health Authority

Below is the information relating to the Harman Close Sheltered Housing
Scheme for the years 2011, 2012, and 2013, which concerns TV licenses for
all types of resident;
 
How many flats were covered by a full TV licence during 2011?   3
How many flats were covered by a full TV licence during 2012?   2
How many flats were covered by a full TV licence during 2013?   2
 
How many flats were covered by a concessionary £7.50 TV licence during
2011?    16
How many flats were covered by a concessionary £7.50 TV licence during

How many flats were covered by a concessionary £7.50 TV licence during
2013?    19
 
How many flats were covered by a free licence for the over 75s during
2011?    28
How many flats were covered by a free licence for the over 75s during

Flats with residents over 75 are not covered on a ‘free licence’ but are
included on the concessionary licence with an asterisk against flat
number, to indicate being over 75.
