Accidents on M20 between J8 & 9 in year before project Brock & since project Brock has been in place.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Kent Police should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Kent Police,

Under the freedom of information act I would like to know the number of Road traffic accidents and how many of these were fatalities on M20 between J8 & 9 in year before project Brock & since project Brock has been in place.

Yours faithfully,
Mrs Ruth Slaney.

Dear Mrs Slaney,

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REF 19/07/1107.

Thank you for your request received by Kent Police on 24^th July 2019.

I notice in your request you ask for data since Operation Brock has been
in place, however Op Brock was only active during the following dates:
25^th March – 15^th April 2019. Thus, would you like the data based on the
year leading up to Op Brock and for the time it was active?

Your request will be placed on hold until we hear from you.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) provides that a public
authority respond to an FOI request within 20 working days. Please be
aware that as well as experiencing very high request volumes, Kent Police
is currently in the process of transitioning to a new crime recording
database. This means that whilst we will endeavour to complete your
request as soon as possible it is likely that a response may well be
delayed, particularly where crime data is sought.

Your interest in Kent Police is appreciated and pending a specific
response to your request, I enclose a sheet, which summarises your rights.
Should you have any further inquiries concerning this matter, please write
or contact us via the following telephone number 01622 652610 quoting the
reference number above.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Freedom of Information Kent,

Thank you for your reply.
Definitely the year leading up to it, then from the first day of operation Brock to present day. As whilst op brock (stacking lorries) is not on we only have 2 lanes active. Drivers are operating as still on.
Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Ruth slaney
