request I can confirm the following:
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request: Can you please provide
me with information that will tell me how many accidents or near misses
have been reported within Victoria Park Smethwick over the past 3 years. I
would like to have the details of the reports to eatablish the nature of
the incidents. I would also like to know how many of those incidents were
taken to health and safety meetings. We respond as follows: Recorded
health and safety incidents at Victoria Park Smethwick over the last 3
years: 2017/18 No incidents reported 2016/17 1 Employee incident. 2
separate incidents involving members of the public. 1 Near miss incident
involving a member of the public 2015/16 1 Employee incident The employee
incidents would have been discussed as statistical information at service
area health and safety committees The three incidents involving members of
the public are all related to the 2016 Victoria Park fireworks and bonfire
event and were discussed at the event de-brief meeting.
