Accessible beds for women under 65 yrs in Acute Pathway

In 2013 you responded to the request below in a helpful Excel spreadsheet

I have slightly amended it /deleted some of the request so that it fits my need.
Please read the original posters' clarification on meaning of accessible before responding

Please respond to the questions below for the years 2015 and 2016 using the same format.

If for some reason you cannot provide for those years please explain why and provide current data .

Please assist me with the following request regarding disability
and gender . The request applies to data on patients between ages 18 & 65 yrs only in acute pathway.
Please include PICU

(1) Please give the number of male only wards, female only wards
and mixed wards across the Trust.

(2) Please give the number of fully disability accessible self contained rooms
across the Trust and where these are located ie in mixed wards/
single gender wards

(3) Please define what 'accessible rooms' means ie what permanent adaptions have been made, whether there are call bells, flashing lights for alarms

(4) Please provide a copy of any disability specific policy

(4) Please confirm if the accessible rooms on mixed wards are on
the male side of the ward ,the female side of the ward ,both or used as 'shared' bed space between the 2 sides of a ward

(5) Please give the total number of female only disability accessible self
contained rooms across the Trust

(6)Please give details and provide policy documents or guidance on
placing female patients with physical or sensory disability in to accessible
rooms on the male side of a ward.

(9) Please confirm & provide details on disability awareness training ward nursing staff receive and whether or not this is compulsory ( please do not refer to physical illness training)

(10) Please confirm if the Trust has OT's on call to urgently assess the needs of disabled patients admitted. If not please explain how on admittance a Care Plan is formulated.

(11) Please confirm how many times in 2017 additional nursing staff were brought in to meet the additional physical disability needs of patients admitted. Please advise who would authorise this ( identifying post only, not named person)

(12) Please provide the contact details for the Disability & Diversity Manager for the Trust
