Access To Work criteria & policy

The request was refused by Department for Work and Pensions.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

In recent times there seems to have been considerable narrowing of the scope of assistance provided for by "Access To Work" .

Please could DWP confirm the current lead time for determination of new applications; the policy on what may/not be provided under the scheme with details, and data on the approval / grant, or otherwise, on determination of applications?

Yours faithfully,

S Phillips

Dear S Phillips,

I am writing in response to your request for information, received 16th
June.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Access To Work criteria & policy'. Your Ref: FOI2020/29734, appears to be a stock answer, and obviously nonsense. The enquiry should be responded to be a relevant person, at an appropriate grade, who could surely answer within 20 minutes allowing for a coffee break.

To assist DWP comply, please try to address merely "what may/not be provided under the scheme with details", which must surely be an "off the shelf" document. However, there's no credible reason why the full enquiry can't be responded to within the time allowed.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Yours faithfully,

S Phillips
