Access to the path along the Thames river, immediately east and west of the Dartford/QEII bridge

Currently waiting for a response from Kent County Council, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Kent County Council,

There used to be at least three different ways to access the path along the Thames from the A206 between the QEII bridge and station Road, whether by foot or by bicycle:
- Bridge Close
- The path along the stream/canal next to Galleon Boulevard
- The path at the 90deg bend of Quadrant Crescent

Yet a recent visit showed all three being blocked, forcing a rather large detour to reach the river.

Can you tell us when and why these accesses were closed, whether these closures are permanent or temporary?
Can you also say what alternatives are put in place or will be in a near future?

The aerial pictures show another passage, immediately west of the QEII bridge, but it appears to be on a private property.

Can you confirm if there is a right of passage here or not?

Yours faithfully,

Olivier Rousseau
