Dear Sir,
I refer to the above and thank you for your request for information dated
6th November 2017.

Your request to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in relation to our
Access Control system has been treated as a request under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.  I confirm your request has now been processed as a
request under the terms of the Act and, accordingly, please see the
response below.

In this Council area there are 3 main Council buildings at which the
majority of Council staff is based. Information has been obtained in
relation to each of the sites as follows:

Downshire Civic Centre, Downpatrick

1. Who is the current provider of your access control system.

KCC Architectural

2. How many doors does this cover?

107 doors

3. Does it include any other devices? If so, please break down into
broad categories

No

4. When was this installed? At what cost?

The system was installed in 2011/12 as part of a complete
construction/refurbishment project. A precise costing of the access and
control system is not available.

5. If a contract is in place, when does this expire?

Contract expires in April 2018.

Council Offices at Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry

1. Who is the current provider of your access control system.

Advance Systems, Dublin

2. How many doors does this cover?

9 doors and 2 barriers

3. Does it include any other devices? If so, please break down into
broad categories

No

4. When was this installed? At what cost?

The system was installed in November 2015 and commissioned in January
2016. A precise costing of the access and control system is not
available.

5. If a contract is in place, when does this expire?

Council Offices at Monaghan Row, Newry

1. Who is the current provider of your access control system.

Electro

2. How many doors does this cover?

7 doors and 3 barriers

3. Does it include any other devices? If so, please break down into
broad categories

No

4. When was this installed? At what cost?

The system was installed approximately 8 years ago. A precise costing of
the access and control system is not available.

5. If a contract is in place, when does this expire?
