Dear Shaw Education Trust,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Shaw Education Trust's handling of my FOI request 'Academies & COO'.

(i) You have also only partially answered the response in relation to travel and subsistence, a direct request in regard to costs was asked, with a separate one asking if there was any 1st class use. You have confirmed no first class use, however, have failed to address item (7) which was surrounding costs of visits.

(ii) You have used section 38 to with hold data, however, in my view this is an unreasonable use of the law, since the data requested is historical and not forward looking, therefore risk to the individual is unlikely. Furthermore, since you publish your Headteacher details on your school websites, then it is reasonable to assume that headteacher is at that school site on a daily basis, therefore, risk to them is more significant in terms of forward planning (as per your rationale), however, this data is still provided so meaning you are accepting this level of risk. Therefore, unless there is a demonstrable pattern, which highlights where the CEO will be on any one day (i.e. x school each Wednesday at 10am), then use of Section 38 is unreasonable and inappropriate, especially combined with item (i) above.

Since there is no reason or rationale to withhold these, and as a public body, I reasonably request these items are answered in a timely manner.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Yours faithfully,

Interested person(s)
