This work is being led by the Cardiff Capital Region and the Vale of Glamorgan Council is not a purchasing party.
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review. I am writing to request an internal review of Vale of Glamorgan Council's handling of my FOI request 'Aberthaw Power Station'.

As such, documents discussing this issue, including emails and phone calls, must be held by the Vale of Glamorgan council.

I still have not received the results of the internal review of Vale of Glamorgan Council's handling of my FOI request 'Aberthaw Power Station'. This was made on January 17. Indeed, I have not received an acknowledgement of my complaint.
I would appreciate it if you could inform me as to how the internal review is going within the next fortnight. Should I not hear anything, I will refer my complaint to the ICO.

I am writing to you in regard for your request for an Internal Review of
the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s response to your Freedom of Information
request relating to Aberthaw Power Station. Your request was received on
the 17^th of January 2022. Please accept apologies that this Council was
unable to provide a reply within the initial 20 working days. The Council
had prepared a response to you by 5^th April 2022 but due to an oversight
this was not sent out. It is appreciated that this timeframe would have
in any event exceeded the 20 working days however this was due to further
enquiries being made in order to try and assist you in the information you
were seeking. Below is the response:-

‘This work is being led by the Cardiff Capital Region and Vale of

Outcome of Internal Review
Having reviewed all the information available, the Monitoring Officer-Head
of Legal & Democratic Services has taken the view that the response to
your Freedom of Information request remains the same. However, in addition
to that original response, we wish to draw to your attention that the
accountable body for legal and financial matters relating to Cardiff
Capital Region (CCR) is Cardiff Council. Enquiries have been made as to
where requests of this nature should be sent within their organisation and
they have informed us that such requests need to be sent to Cardiff
Council at the following email address to seek any information that they
may hold:
